The Botanical Detox Masque is formulated to create a total cell detox to balance, restore and purify the skin. This masque features many organic ingredients, including mineral and antioxidant-rich organic rooibos and green tea and an array of all-natural botanical flowers – chamomile, passion fruit, calendula, jasmine and Bulgarian rose. Organic oils – olive, jojoba, soybean and rosemary balance and restore impaired skin. All skin types benefit from this luxurious, botanical detox masque, which purify and balance stressed out skin due to environmental toxins such as pore-clogging pollution and makeup.

Activated charcoal has been shown to absorb unwanted toxins; in fact, it is commonly used in medicine to absorb toxins and poisons in case of drug overdose or poisoning. It is made by heating common charcoal in the presence of a gas that causes the charcoal to develop internal spaces, or “pores”. These pores help activated charcoal to absorb and trap pollutants and toxins by acting like a magnet, attracting and trapping toxins like a sponge. When topically applied, skin toxins are trapped and removed, leaving the skin feeling purified, clean and balanced.
