Live Love Spa Community Highlight: Catherine Warren

Meet the VP Who Believes in Peptides, P&Ls, Morning Workouts... and a Little Grace

Q&A with Catherine Warren, Vice President of Strategic Relationships Arch Amenities Group

What’s one unexpected career turn that led you to where you are?

I was selling and creating advertising for The Birmingham News and Birmingham Post Herald newspapers when the internet arrived, and I immediately thought, “Well, this could be a problem.” I was also teaching yoga, Pilates, Step, and cycling before and after work, so when I read that health and fitness would be the next major business wave, I followed the wave all the way to a cruise ship as a Fitness Director with Steiner.

What's one wellness "rule" you think deserves to be broken?

I personally do not believe breakfast is mandatory for grown-ups. I personally feel better eating between noon and dinner, and time-restricted eating can work very well for many people when it is nutritionally sound and appropriate for the individual. The larger lesson is that wellness should be personalized, not dictated by a cereal commercial.

How would you define wellness in three words or less? (Or in one sentence.)

Give yourself grace.

If you could go to any spa in the world, which would you pick and what treatment would you book?

I would go to Clinique La Prairie in Montreux, Switzerland, for its Revitalization program. It combines longevity medicine, diagnostics, nutrition, movement, and luxury hospitality. Also, Switzerland seems like the ideal place to be medically evaluated while overlooking Lake Geneva in a robe.

I believe wellness should help us live more fully, not create another impossible standard of perfection to chase. It should be personal, sustainable, and grounded in movement, nourishment, recovery, meaningful relationships, joy, and a healthy sense of humor. The future of longevity will be both globally informed and deeply individualized, with growing attention to hormones

Tell me about a 2026 wellness trend that you think is actually worth the hype…

Peptides. All the peptides. They are one of the most exciting areas in skincare, longevity, recovery, and metabolic health. Of course, quality, clinical evidence, and proper supervision matter, but the potential is enormous.

As far as go-to products go, what are you loving right now? What’s on your must recommend list? (Please share a link if you can)

I love Pevonia’s Power Repair Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Moisturizer. It is luxurious, deeply hydrating, and makes mature skin look like it has been making excellent life choices.

Tell us one lesson you learned the hard way this year (or ever), that everyone else can borrow instead? (Thank you in advance!)

Success does not require universal understanding. Sometimes, especially as a woman, you simply have to trust your judgment, honor your boundaries, and keep moving forward whether everyone understands your choices or not. Allow your results to speak for you.

Are you a morning routine, or night-time routine person? What’s one ritual you never skip?

Definitely nighttime. I work out in the morning, but that is less of a ritual and more of a long-standing agreement with myself that I am afraid to renegotiate. My greatest household splurge was a steam shower, and I use it as often as possible, usually followed by a lavender Epsom salt bath so heavily salted that I could practically float like I am in the Dead Sea, and a hot glass of golden milk. I am not naturally a great sleeper, but that combination is usually persuasive enough to knock me out.

If you had just five minutes with another spa professional, what would you teach them?

How to read a P&L. You can create the most beautiful spa in the world, but if payroll, margins, and expenses are out of control, the candles will not save you.

How do you spend your day off?

Working. I realize that is not the correct wellness answer, but it is the honest one.

And lastly, what are you most excited about for our upcoming Miami event?

Seeing the Live Love Spa family. It is always joyful, energizing, and filled with people I genuinely adore.
